1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Groupie ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Groupie provides tools for creators to monetize their online communities, including but not limited to:

• Subscription management for Telegram groups, Discord servers, and WhatsApp communities
• Payment processing through Stripe
• Automated access control for paid members
• Checkout pages and member management

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date

4. Payments and Fees

Groupie charges a 10% transaction fee on all payments processed through our platform. Additional payment processing fees from Stripe (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) apply.

Creators are responsible for:

• Setting appropriate prices for their offerings
• Handling refund requests from their subscribers
• Complying with Stripe's terms of service
• Reporting and paying applicable taxes on their earnings

5. Subscriber Rights

Subscribers who purchase access through Groupie are entitled to:

• Access to the community or content they purchased for the duration of their subscription
• Cancel their subscription at any time (access continues until the end of the billing period)
• Request refunds according to the creator's refund policy

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Sell illegal content or services
• Engage in fraud or deceptive practices
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Distribute malware or engage in hacking activities
• Circumvent our access control mechanisms
• Resell or redistribute access to paid communities

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• We may delete your account data after a reasonable period
• Any pending payouts may be held pending investigation of violations

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Groupie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of the cause of action.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
